Design is where creative and strategic thinking intersect. When inspiration and experimentation manifest, the game changes. These beliefs have steered my career down the path of UI/UX design.
Professional Background
I currently work at Netchex as the Director of UI/UX. In the last 3+ years, I’ve introduced human centered design thinking and helped build a UX strategy. I’ve also been able to grow a team of UI/UX designers along the way.
Before Netchex, I was an Art Director at Peter Mayer Advertising. My career started as a digital specialist, but blossomed into a multi-disciplinary one. The exposure of sitting on all sides of the creative table taught me to think about a product’s ecosystem. My focus shifted from building tactics to building experiences to building digital experiences.
Outside of Work
Even outside of work, I love making things. I currently live in New Orleans with my husband and daughter. Together we design and build homes. I also enjoy quilting, sewing and embroidery.
